What does “19 momme” mean?
Momme is silk's weight-density measure, how much silk is woven into the fabric. 19 momme is the sweet spot for pillowcases: dense enough to be durable and luminous, light enough to stay breathable and cool.
How does silk help hair and skin?
Silk's smooth surface creates less friction than cotton, so hair glides instead of snagging, less frizz and breakage, and skin isn't pressed into sleep creases overnight. Silk is also less absorbent than cotton, so more of your skincare stays on your face instead of your pillow.
